استهدف هذا البحث توضيح كيفية تحسين ترتيب جامعة حائل في تصنيف QS لتحقيق متطلبات رؤية المملكة 2030، وذلك من خلال: التعرف على أطر ومعايير تصنيف "كيو إسQS " العالمي للجامعات، والمحكات التي يستند إليها في تقييم الجامعات، والتعرف على أهم جهود جامعة حائل لتحسين ترتيبها في التصنيفات العالمية للجامعات؛ مواكبةً لرؤية 2030، ومن ثم تحديد أهم الملامح والأسس التي تستند إليها الاستراتيجية المقترحة لتحسين ترتيب جامعة حائل في تصنيف كيو إس (QS) لتحقيق رؤية المملكة 2030. واعتمد البحث على المزاوجة بين المنهج الوصفي ومنهجية "سوات SWOT"، بهدف التعرف على مدى توافر معايير تصنيف "كيو إسQS " بجامعة حائل من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس بكليات جامعة حائل، وتوصل إلى توافر سمعة أكاديمية جيدة للجامعة في المجتمع، وتوافر عدد كافٍ من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعة؛ حيث تعمل على تحقيق كفاءتهم وكفايتهم، وتطوير برامجها الأكاديمية لتلبية متطلبات سوق العمل، حيث إن توجه الجامعة وسعيها الحقيقي يتركز على توفير مقومات جودة البحث العلمي وفقاً لأعلى المعايير العالمية، إلا أن هناك قلة في عدد الشراكات البحثية والمجتمعية للجامعة، وقلة في برامج تبادل الطلاب وتدويل أعضاء هيئة التدريس؛ مما يتطلب اتخاذ بعض الإجراءات التصحيحية لمعالجة مثل هذه المشكلات. (الملخص المنشور)

This research aims at illustrating how to improve the ranking of the University of Hail in QS to achieve 2030 Vision of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through acknowledging the frameworks and standards of QS Ranking of universities and the criteria that it is based on in assessing universities, and the efforts of University of Hail to improve its ranking in world university ranking to achieve Vision 2030 and hence determining the characteristics and basics of the proposed strategy. It made a full use of both the descriptive method and SWOT technique in order to acknowledge the availability of QS standards in University of Hail from its members, point of view. The research confirmed the preparedness of the University for Institutional Accreditation, the availability of teaching staff as the university always seeks to reach the standard rate of them to students and to achieve their efficiency and effectiveness, developing academic programs to satisfy work labor requirements, and the intent of the university to achieve the scientific research quality according to the international standards. However, the university suffers from the low number of research and community partnerships, and student exchange programs ans internationalization of teaching staff so corrective actions can be taken to resolute these problems.
