هدفت الدراسة لمعرفة العلاقة بين الأمن الفكري والهزيمة النفسية لدى الشباب الجامعي، وتكونت العينة من (620) شاب جامعي في بعض الجامعات المصرية والسعودية، وقام الباحثان بإعداد مقياسين للأمن الفكري والهزيمة النفسية. واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وبعد معالجة البيانات إحصائيًا واستخدام الأساليب المناسبة. أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى ‌وجود علاقة ارتباطية سالبة دالة إحصائيًا بين درجات أفراد عينة الدراسة في الأمن الفكري ودرجاتهم في الهزيمة النفسية، وكذلك عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا بين متوسطات درجات عينة الدراسة في الأمن الفكري موضع الدراسة تبعًا للجنس (ذكور- إناث)، وتبعًا للتخصص الدراسي (أدبي- علمي)، وكذلك عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا بين متوسطات درجات عينة الدراسة في الهزيمة النفسية موضع الدراسة تبعًا للجنس(ذكر- أنثى)، وتبعًا للتخصص الدراسي (أدبي- علمي)، وكذلك إمكانية التنبؤ بالهزيمة النفسية لدى عينة الدراسة من خلال درجاتهم علي أبعاد مقياس الأمن الفكري، كما تم صياغة مجموعة من المقترحات التي يمكن أن تُساهم في بناء الشباب الجامعي بصورة متوازنة. (الملخص المنشور)

This study aimed at knowing the relation between intellectual security and psychological defeat among university youth, the sample was made up of 620 young Egyptian and Saudi universities, researchers prepared two measures for intellectual security and psychological defeat, the study used descriptive method, after the data were treated statistically and using the suitable methods. The study’s findings indicated that there is a statistically significant correlation between the grade and grade of the sample in intellectual security and their degrees in psychological defeat, as well as the absence of statistically significant differences between the mean grade of the study in the intellectual security studied by gender and by discipline (literary scientific). The lack of statistical function differences between the average grade of the study sample in the psychological defeat studied by gender, by discipline (literary-scientific), and the possibility of predicting the psychological defeat of the study sample through their degrees on the dimensions of the intellectual security standard. A set of proposals has been formulated that could contribute to building university youth in a balanced way. (Published abstract)
