This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of A proposed unit in the teaching methods course based on ergonomics principles in improving the quality of life and developing the future thinking of pre-service psychology teachers in Faculty of Education Minia University. To achieve the purposes of the study, the unit was designed in light of the principles of ergonomics (human factors engineering). The sample of the study consisted of 50 students, 25 students for the experimental group and 25 others for the control group. Results of the study revealed that there was a significant statistical difference between mean scores obtained by the experimental group and the control one favoring the experimental group on the post administration of the live quality scale and Futuristic Thinking. and there is statistically significant differences between the means of the scores of the students in the pre and post application of live quality scale and Futuristic Thinking favoring the post application.
