The paper aimed to develop a proposed conception for the development of the role of learning resource centers in distance learning in general education schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through: revealing the role of learning resource centers in supporting distance learning in general education schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and revealing the challenges that hinder Employing learning resource centers in support of distance learning in general education schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and discussing requirements for employing learning resource centers to support distance learning in general education schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. To achieve the goals of the paper, the analytical descriptive approach was used by analyzing the theoretical literature related to the study variables, and the qualitative approach was used using an open questionnaire (a standardized interview) that was created with Google form including the study questions, and through it the opinions of an intentional sample of experts who have experience were surveyed. In the field of learning resources and some teachers who are (30) experts, where their opinions were collected through a questionnaire, and personal communication was conducted to delve into some perceptions, and then those data were analyzed using qualitative analysis tools and in light of the analysis the paper presented a proposed vision for the development of the role of learning resource centers In distance learning in general education schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study recommends the necessity of working on implementing the proposed vision and making use of the basic aspects contained in it, and paying attention to material and human resources as it is the main driver for the success of the distance learning experience.
