The study aimed at examining the relationship between the positive feelings and goal orientations of a sample of gifted students. A total of (346) gifted students of multiple high schools in Jeddah were involved in the study to achieve this objective To collect the data, the descriptive- correlational approach was used; besides, the positive feelings scale prepared by the researcher, and the goal orientation scale prepared by Elliot & Mcgregor (2001) and translated by Al-Wattean (2013) were used to have accurate results The scores of the positive feelings scale were corrected according to 3 points measurement (always=3, sometimes=2, rarely=1), while the goal orientation scale scores were corrected according to the Likert 5-points scale. The study showed a set of outcomes. First, there was a medium level of positive feelings and high goal orientations among the students. Second, a positive correlation relationship that is statistically significant at (5%) level exists between the positive feelings and the goal orientations. Third, the most important positive feelings were affected positively in the goal orientations of students including acceptance of personal responsibility, positive risk, and emotional control. Fourth, the results found that there were statistically significant differences between students according to the gender variable in the goal of mastery (courage) and the goal of performance (mastery), which were in favor of females in the goal of mastery (courage), while were in favor of males in the goal of performance (mastery). Finally, there were statistically significant differences exist between the students in the goal orientations, which is more positive to the students who are more than 15 years — except for the first goal of mastery (courage) that was related to the age variable Considering the results of the research, the researcher made some scientific recommendations, and future proposals.
