The study aimed to investigate the use of cinematic superhero films in teaching science from science teachers’ point of view grades five to twelfth in Al Sharqiyah South Governorate. The descriptive approach was used. The study sample consisted of 10 teachers with focused interviews to collect views. The responses were analyzed to answer the study questions. The results revealed different opinions about the use of the proposed films between supporters and opponents, and each category has its logical arguments on the topic. All these were focused on problem-solving and critical thinking, understanding of science, orientation towards science, personal experiences, learning motivation, class discussion, academic achievement, social characteristics, teaching methods, religion and belief, nature of science, technical aspects, and legal aspects. Thus, the study concluded some recommendations and suggestions. The most prominent of which are: conducting more qualitative and procedural research aimed at cinematic films in particular, and how to benefit from them educationally. It recommended searching for solutions to the difficulties that emerged out of the results of the study on the use of cinematic superhero films. (Published abstract)
