The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of psychological counseling programs in reducing psychological stress among mothers of children with autism in the governorate of Jeddah, whose number is (85) mothers, and to search for differences between the averages of the role of psychological counseling in reducing psychological stress among mothers of autistic children according to the following variables (child gender-child age-total monthly income - the mother's profession). The researcher followed the explanatory sequential design approach that combines the quantitative and qualitative approach in collecting and analyzing data. Also, the researcher used the psychological counseling role scale and the psychological stress scale among mothers of autistic children. The study reached many findings, most notably: that the level of psychological counseling among a sample of mothers of autistic children in the city of Jeddah is high and that the level of psychological stress is average, and there are statistically significant differences in the average degrees of psychological stress among a sample of mothers of autistic children in the city of Jeddah, and the variable (gender) is attributed to the benefit of males. There are statistically significant differences in the average degrees of psychological stress among a sample of mothers of autistic children in the city of Jeddah, and the variable (profession) is attributed to the benefit of working mothers. There are no statistically significant differences in the average degrees of stress Psychological among a sample of mothers of autistic children in the city of Jeddah and the variable (monthly income) is attributed. There are statistically significant differences in the average degrees of psychological stress among a sample of mothers of autistic children in the city of Jeddah and the variable (age) is attributed in favor of age between 8-10, where there is a decrease in the level of psychological stress of their mothers, and as well as an inverse correlation statistically significant between the role of psychological counseling and the psychological stress of mothers of autistic children in the city of Jeddah.
