This study aims to know the concept and properties of evidence-based best practices in the community service CS. It also aims to investigate CS' best practices at national and international levels and their reflections on the programs and activities that have been Provided by PNU. Additionally, the study aims to establish an electronic site using contemporary technologies for development of Saudi CS, and support the PNU’s third objective in CS, by investing in the evidence-based best practices at both national and international levels. The study followed the descriptive –analytical method. It involves the best practices in several aspects including education, students' contribution in CS, social responsibility, volunteering, youth service, community initiatives, and community needs. The identified best practices are applied in America, the UK, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. The results revealed many similarities between PNU's CS practices and their counterparts in these countries. Also, the results explore the establishment of an interactive electronic site for continuous upgrading and improvement of CS by using contemporary technologies. The study drew some recommendations including the importance of Saudi universities to benefit from the evidence-based best practices in providing CS for Saudis, that aligned with their needs and values. It also recommends active communication and contribution of all Saudi Universities via this platform for exchanging ideas and creating developmental initiatives. The study suggests for the Ministry of Education to use the web- site for exploring deliverables and communicating with CS deanships at Saudi universities. (Published abstract)
