The reason what made our researcher to present this study is that be noticed big shortage in the level of performing solffeg in the higher institution of musical Art, So he suggested extracted exercises from muwashshah “ Ahheno Shawqan” (old heritage) to solve this problem. He choosed sample of the Research for many considerations such as simplicity of time, the inclusion of melodic sentences suitable to be used as suggested solfege exercises. Also because it has simple time signature, simple Darb to be perfomed which called “Al masmoudy Al Kabeir” and other considerations. The first chapter “the theoretical frame” includes: Al muwashshah, it`s history, the identification of “Ahheno showqan” The Second chapter includes and lytic study of the muwashshah and Eight extracted exercises from it, suitable to solve the problem of the Research mentioned before. The Research explained and described each exercise and its alin, then he took the opinions of experts concerning those excercises result was very positive for the sake of the Research.
