Despite the recent interest in scientific studies on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder ADHD) among people with learning disabilities, the researchers of this research noticed, through field their visits to schools, that students with learning disabilities associated with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in the primary stage face unspecified academic problems. Al-Khashrami’s study (2000) ( ) also indicated that the failure of students with learning disabilities to receive adequate and appropriate care methods is the most prominent obstacle that limits the special programs offered to students with learning disabilities in general and those with attention deficit disorder accompanied by hyperactivity in particular. Therefore, the current research aimed to identify the academic problems resulting from attention deficit disorder accompanied by hyperactivity among students with learning disabilities and ways to overcome them from the perspectives of female teachers of learning disabilities in the primary stage in the city of Buraidah. The researchers used the interview method for the same reason with the research sample consisting of (8) female teachers with specialization in learning disabilities from six random primary schools in Buraidah. The results of the research identified the academic problems resulting from attention deficit disorder accompanied by hyperactivity among students with learning disabilities, represented by poor academic achievement, neglect or failure to bring homework, frequent absence, evasion or leaving the classroom, lack or scarcity of class interaction, recurring behavioral problems, lack of parental cooperation, neglect, and defective performance. Education for teachers and a defect in school administration. The results also indicated that the ways to overcome academic problems resulting from attention deficit disorder accompanied by hyperactivity among students with learning disabilities include the following: Developing appropriate behavioral plans for students, preparing the classroom and the educational environment, qualifying and training school administrations, specialized and non-specialized teachers, and managing time and dividing it between academic tasks activities, use of strategy, education through play, active and motor activities, and medical treatment in severe cases.
