هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على كل من مستوى ممارسة الأبعاد الفرعية لمجتمعات التعلم المهنية في مدارس التعليم العام بجدة من وجهة نظر المعلمين، ومستوى توافر القدرات القيادية لدى المعلمين في مدارس التعليم العام بجدة من وجهة نظر المعلمين، والعلاقة بين مجتمعات التعلم المهنية والقدرات القيادية للمعلمين، ومدى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية حول مستوى ممارسة الأبعاد الفرعية لمجتمعات التعلم المهنية في مدارس التعليم العام بجدة من وجهة نظر المعلمين تعزى لمتغير سنوات الخبرة، ومدى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية حول مستوى توافر القدرات القيادية في مدارس التعليم العام بجدة من وجهة نظر المعلمين تعزى لمتغير سنوات الخبرة، واتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي السببي المقارن، والاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات، وشمل مجتمع الدراسة معلمي مدارس التعليم العام في محافظة جدة بالمملكة العربية السعودية والبالغ عددهم 29094 معلم، وبلغت العينة 705 معلم، وتوصلت الدراسة لنتائج أبرزها أن استجابات أفراد الدراسة من المعلمين في مدارس التعليم العام بجدة على محور "مستوى توافر القدرات القيادية لدى المعلمين في مدارس التعليم العام بجدة " عالية "، ووجود علاقة ارتباط طردية (موجبة) ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) بين الدرجة الكلية لممارسة مجتمعات التعلم المهنية والدرجة الكلية للقدرات القيادية بمدارس التعليم العام بمدينة جده. وأوصت الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة ارتباط طردية (موجبة) ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) بين الدرجة الكلية لممارسة مجتمعات التعلم المهنية والدرجة الكلية للقدرات القيادية بمدارس التعليم العام بمدينة جده، وأنه يجب على مدير المدرسة أن يشرك المعلمين في عمليات صنع القرار، وتمكين الأفراد من العمل الجماعي. The study aimed to identify each of the level of practice of professional learning communities in public education schools in Jeddah from the point of view of teachers, and the level of availability of leadership capabilities among teachers in general education schools in Jeddah from the teachers' point of view, and the relationship between professional learning communities and the leadership capabilities of teachers, and the extent to which there are differences Statistically significant about the level of practice of professional learning communities in public education schools in Jeddah from the point of view of teachers due to the variable years of experience, and the extent to which there are statistically significant differences about the level of availability of leadership capabilities in general education schools in Jeddah in general education schools in Jeddah from the point of view of teachers due to the variable years of experience, The study followed the comparative correlational survey quantitative approach, and the questionnaire as a tool for data collection. The study population included the teachers of general schools in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia of (29094 teachers), and a sample of 705 teachers. the responses on the axis of “the level of availability of leadership capabilities among teachers in general schools in Jeddah” came with a “high” degree of availability, and there was a direct (positive) correlation relationship with statistical significance at the level (0.05) between the degree The study recommended that there is a direct (positive) correlation with statistical significance at the level (0.05) between the total degree of practicing professional learning communities and the total degree of leadership abilities in public education schools in Jeddah. And that the school principal must involve teachers in decision-making processes, and enable individuals to work together. (Published abstract)
