تعصف بالمجتمعات في الآونة الأخيرة العديد من التحولات والمتغيرات والتي سرعان ما تفرض تداعياتها وانعكاساتها على كافة الأصعدة والميادين، حيث أصبح مفهوم الجودة وتحسين نوعية الأشياء ومواصفاتها إحدى أهم متطلبات استمرارية وبقاء المنظمات ومن بينها الجامعات، ويُعد أعضاء هيئة التدريس الرصيد الحقيقي والمستمر لرأس المال الفكري والذي يُعد الدعامة الرئيسة لتحقيق المزايا التنافسية للجامعة والمجتمع، غير أن البرامج الجامعية تفتقر للأنشطة الرياضية والترفيهية والتثقيفية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس، فالجامعات لا تعدو مجرد مراكز تقليدية للتعليم تغلب عليها الجوانب النظرية وإعلاء ثقافة الذاكرة وتغلغل البيروقراطية والنمطية في العديد من أنشطتها، وقلة رصد الحوافز والمكافآت المعززة للنشر العلمي الدولي وغيرها من المعوقات التي تحول دون تحقيق أعضاء هيئة التدريس لأدوارهم الجديدة؛ ولذا استهدف البحث بلورة قائمة بمتطلبات جودة الحياة لأعضاء هيئة التدريس واستطلاع آراء وتوجهات عينة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعات بشأنها، واعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وانتهى البحث إلى تحديد جودة الحياة لأعضاء هيئة التدريس في ثمانية أبعاد تتمثل في: تدعيم الأمن الوظيفي، وتدعيم الأمن النفسي وتخفيف القلق حول المستقبل، وإدارة الوقت وتخفيف ضغوط العمل، وتطوير قدرات أعضاء هيئة التدريس للتعاطي مع المستجدات التعليمية والتنظيمية، وبناء ثقافة التعليم المستمر، واستشراف مسارات ومهارات العمل في المستقبل، وهندسة الترويح عن النفس، وإتاحة الفرص للترقية والتنمية المهنية المستدامة، وانتهى البحث لبلورة بعض المقترحات الداعمة لتلبية تلك المتطلبات. Societies have recently been plagued by many transformations and variables, which quickly impose their repercussions and repercussions at all levels and fields, as the concept of quality and improving the quality of things and their specifications has become one of the most important requirements for the continuity and survival of organizations, including universities, and faculty members are the real and continuous balance of intellectual capital, which is considered. The main pillar to achieve the competitive advantages of the university and society, However, university programs lack sports, recreational and educational activities for faculty members. Universities are nothing more than traditional centers of education dominated by theoretical aspects, the upholding of the culture of memory, the penetration of bureaucracy and stereotypes in many of their activities, and the lack of monitoring of incentives and rewards that promote international scientific publishing and other obstacles that prevent the achievement of faculty members for their new roles. Therefore, the current research aimed to develop a list of the quality of life requirements for faculty members and to explore the opinions and trends of a sample of university faculty members regarding them. The research relied on the descriptive analytical approach, and the research ended with defining the quality of life for faculty members in eight dimensions: strengthening job security, strengthening psychological security, relieving anxiety about the future, managing time and relieving work pressures, and developing faculty members' abilities to deal with educational developments. and organizational, building a culture of continuous learning, anticipating future work paths and skills, recreation engineering, providing opportunities for promotion and sustainable professional development, and the research ended with crystallizing some supportive proposals to meet those requirements.
