هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مدى استعداد بعض الجامعات في مدينة الرياض لتوظيف تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في التعليم الإلكتروني، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي، حيث تم جمع البيانات من خلال استبانة إلكترونية تم توزيعها على عينة عشوائية مكوَّنة من (156) عضو هيئة تدريس، و(39) من العاملين في عمادة التعاملات الإلكترونية والاتصالات في عدد من جامعات مدينة الرياض التي تم اختيارها بطريقة قصدية. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى جملة من النتائج أهمها: أنَّ تقديرات العاملين في عمادة التعاملات الإلكترونية والاتصالات في بعض جامعات الرياض لواقع تطبيق التعليم الإلكتروني في الجامعة جاءت بدرجة (مرتفعة)، فيما جاءت تقديراتهم لإمكانية الجامعات من توظيف تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في التعليم الإلكتروني بدرجة (متوسطة)، في حين جاءت تقديرات أعضاء هيئة التدريس في بعض جامعات الرياض لمستوى الخلفية العلمية لديهم حول الذكاء الاصطناعي بدرجة (متوسطة)، إلا أن تقديراتهم لمدى استعدادهم لاستخدام تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في التعليم الإلكتروني جاءت بدرجة (مرتفعة)، وأخيرًا أظهرت النتائج أنَّ أعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعات الرياض يوافقون إجمالًا بدرجة (مرتفعة) على وجود عدد من المعوقات التي تواجه توظيف تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في التعليم الإلكتروني. وعلى ضوء ما تُوصل إليه من نتائج قدمت الباحثتين عددًا من التوصيات، منها: وضع استراتيجية واضحة من قبل الجامعات لتوظيف تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في التعليم الإلكتروني، إقامة الورش الدورية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس لتعريفهم بكل جديد في مجال تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي. The research aims to identify the extent to which some universities in Riyadh can employ artificial intelligence applications in e-learning. To achieve this goal, a descriptive approach was used, where data was collected through an electronic questionnaire on a random sample of (156) faculty members and (39) employees of the Deanship of Electronic Transactions and Communications. The most important results in this research were that the estimates of the employees of the Deanship of Electronic Transactions and Communications in some universities in Riyadh regarding the reality of implementing eLearning at the university came in a degree of (high), while their estimates of the ability of theses universities to employ artificial intelligence applications in e-learning came in a degree of (medium). While the estimates of faculty members in some universities in Riyadh for the level of their scientific background in artificial intelligence were (medium), their estimates of the extent of their readiness to use artificial intelligence applications in e-learning were (high). Finally, the results showed that faculty members at universities in Riyadh generally agree to a (high) degree that there are several obstacles facing the use of artificial intelligence applications in e-learning. In light of the results reached, the researcher presented some recommendations, including developing a clear strategy by universities to employ artificial intelligence applications in eLearning and holding periodic workshops for faculty members to inform them of what is new in the field of artificial intelligence applications.
