The research aims to identify effective science teaching strategy using analogies in the develop critical thinking skills among students in sixth grade. To achieve this goal , the researcher developed a test of critical thinking skills , The researcher used the quasi-experimental ; where the sample consisted of 48 students from sixth grade area Bisha education , were randomly divided into two unequal ; One pilot was ( 24 students) , examined the unit " diversity of life " by using the strategy of analogies , and the other officer was ( 24) a student, I studied the unit itself in the usual way , has lasted the search experience ( 3) weeks , and applied critical thinking skills test tribal and Uday on the two groups. The results of the search for the presence of statistically significant differences at the level ( 0.05) between the mean scores of students of experimental and control groups in post application test the critical thinking skills , and for the benefit of students of the experimental group . The results showed the effectiveness of teaching science using a strategy of analogies in develop critical thinking skills among students in the experimental group, and in the light of these results, the researcher presented some recommendations and suggestions.
