The research aims to identify effective science teaching strategy using analogies in the acquisition of scientific concepts and develop critical thinking skills among students in sixth grade. To achieve this goal , the researcher developed a test of scientific concepts , and a test of critical thinking skills , The researcher used the quasi-experimental ; where the sample consisted of 48 students from sixth grade area Bisha education , were randomly divided into two unequal ; One pilot was ( 24 students) , examined the unit " diversity of life " by using the strategy of analogies , and the other officer was ( 24) a student, I studied the unit itself in the usual way , has lasted the search experience ( 3) weeks , and applied testing ( scientific concepts and critical thinking skills ) tribal and Uday on the two groups .The results of the search for the presence of statistically significant differences at the level ( 0.05) between the mean scores of students of experimental and control groups in each of the post application : testing scientific concepts and test the critical thinking skills , and for the benefit of students of the experimental group . The results showed the effectiveness of teaching science using a strategy of analogies in the acquisition of scientific concepts and develop critical thinking skills among students in the experimental group , and in the light of these results , the researcher presented some recommendations and suggestions.
