The study aimed to identify the relationship between rational thinking and the level of psychological fitness for a sample of female public education schools' teachers in the city of Makkah, and to find the differences between the averages of rational thinking and psychological fitness, according to demographic variables (age, marital status, teaching experience). It was applied to a sample of female teachers at general education schools, which numbered (400) female teachers. It also followed the descriptive correlative approach. The scale of rational thinking, and the scale of psychological fitness, prepared by the two researchers, were used as tools for it. After confirming their psychometric properties, the two researchers analyzed the data through the (SPSS) program, following the following statistical methods: (Pearson correlation coefficient; alpha coefficient; calculating the mean and standard deviation; frequency; percentages; response degree; ranks; one-way variance test). It has reached many results, most notably: that the levels of rational thinking and psychological fitness among female teachers at general education schools are high, according to the responses of the sample members on the two scales. Also, there is a positive and statistically significant correlation at the level of significance (0.05), between the mean scores of the sample members on the scale of rational thinking and the scale of psychological fitness. In light of the results of the study, the two researchers concluded by putting forward many recommendations and proposed future studies, which can contribute to strengthening the concept of rational thinking and psychological fitness among educators, counselors, and students.
