هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على تطبيق الحوكمة بأبعادها (القيادة، اللجان، الشفافية) في تحقيق التميز الإداري في ضوء متطلبات الاعتماد المؤسسي. ترتبط الحوكمة ارتباط وثيق بالأداء الوظيفي حيث إنها تساهم بشكل إيجابي في تحسين الأداء من خلال تعزيز ممارسات ومبادئ الحوكمة والتي يطلق عليها ضمن متطلبات الاعتماد المؤسسي أبعاد متطلب الحوكمة، حيث إن تلك الأبعاد تساعد على تحسين أداء الجهاز الإداري وبالتالي الوصول إلى تحقيق التميز الإداري كونها أبعاد تضمن جودة الأداء ورضا المستفيدين (الوكيل، 2021). اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوثائقي للتعرف على الدراسات ذات العلاقة الوثيقة بالموضوع، وأظهرت النتائج ندرة الدراسات التي تطرقت إلى تطبيق الحوكمة تحديدا في ضوء متطلبات الاعتماد المؤسسي في تحقيق التميز الإداري، كما أظهرت قوة العلاقة بين تطبيق الحوكمة والتميز الإداري. كما اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي للتعرف على آراء الفئة المستهدفة وهم الكادر الإداري بجامعة الملك عبدالعزيز من خلال أداة الاستبانة وأظهرت النتائج موافقة أفراد العينة على ارتباط تطبيق الحوكمة في ضوء الاعتماد المؤسسي في تحقيق التميز الإداري وخاصة أن جامعة الملك عبدالعزيز من الجامعات العريقة والمتميزة وحاصلة على الاعتماد المؤسسي وعملت على تجديده وتطبق متطلباته وتتابع تفعيله وضمان جودته. The study aimed to identify the application of governance in its dimensions (leadership, committees, transparency) in achieving administrative excellence in light of institutional accreditation requirements. Governance is closely linked to job performance, as it contributes positively to improving performance by enhancing governance practices and principles, which within institutional accreditation requirements are called the dimensions of the governance requirement, as these dimensions help improve the performance of the administrative apparatus and thus achieve administrative excellence, as they are dimensions that guarantee Quality of performance and beneficiary satisfaction (الوكيل, 2021). The study aimed to identify the applying governance with its dimensions (leadership, committees, transparency) in achieving administrative excellence in the Light of institutional accreditation requirements. The study followed the documentary method to identify studies closely related to the topic. The results showed a scarcity of studies that specifically addressed the application of governance considering institutional accreditation requirements in achieving administrative excellence. The results also showed a strong relationship between the application of governance and administrative excellence. The study also followed the descriptive analytical approach to identify the opinions of the target group, which is the administrative staff at King Abdulaziz University, through the questionnaire tool. The results showed the sample members’ agreement on the relevance of applying governance in the Light of institutional accreditation to achieving administrative excellence, especially since King Abdulaziz University is one of the ancient and distinguished universities and has obtained accreditation. Institutional work was done to renew it, implement its requirements, follow up on its activation, and ensure its quality. (Published abstract)
