هدف البحث إلى التعرف على الفروق بين مستويات الأمل الأطفال مرضى سرطان الدم والأطفال الأصحاء على مقياس الأمل للأطفال، والتعرف على الفروق بين أمهات الأطفال مرضى سرطان الدم وأمهات الأطفال الأصحاء على مقياس الأمل للأمهات، الكشف عن العلاقة بين درجات الأمل للأطفال مرضى سرطان الدم ودرجات الأمل لأمهاتهم. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (40) طفل (20 طفل من الأطفال مرضى سرطان الدم في المرحلة الابتدائية، 20 طفل من الأطفال الأصحاء)، تتراوح أعمارهم ما بين (6-12) عاما. أجريت الدراسة على عينة قوامها (40) أم لهؤلاء الأطفال (المرضى والأصحاء). استخدمت الدراسة مقياسين للأمل، مقياس الأمل للأطفال مرضى السرطان، ومقياس الأمل لأمهات الأطفال. أشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.01) بين متوسطي درجات الأطفال مرضى سرطان الدم والأطفال الأصحاء على مقياس الأمل لصالح الأطفال الأصحاء وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.01) بين متوسطي درجات أمهات الأطفال مرضى سرطان الدم وأمهات الأطفال الأصحاء على مقياس الأمل للأمهات لصالح أمهات الأطفال الأصحاء. وجود علاقة دالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.01) بين متوسطي درجات الأمل للأطفال مرضى سرطان الدم ومتوسطي درجات أمهاتهم، وتم تفسير هذه النتائج في ضوء الإطار النظري والدراسات السابقة. The research aimed to identify differences between levels of hope in children with leukemia and healthy children and their mothers on the hope children's scale, and to identify the differences between mothers of children with leukemia and mothers of healthy children on the Hope for Mothers scale, to reveal the relationship between degrees of hope for children with leukemia and degrees of hope for their mothers. The sample of the study consisted of (40) children, 20 children with leukemia in the primary stage, 20 children of healthy children, whose ages ranged between (12: 6) years old, and the study was also conducted on a sample consisting of (40) mothers of these children (sick and healthy children). The study used two measures of hope, the hope scale for children with cancer, and the hope scale for mothers of children, and the research resulted in the existence of statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) between the scores of children with leukemia and the scores of healthy children on the hope scale in favor of healthy children. A level (0.01) between the scores of mothers of children with leukemia and those of mothers of healthy children on the hope for mothers’ scale in favor of mothers of healthy children. There was a statistically significant relationship at the level (0.01) between the degrees of hope for children with leukemia and their mothers’ scores. (Published abstract)
