يعد التدريب الإلكتروني من أهم المداخل الحديثة للتنمية المهنية المستدامة التي تستهدف تنمية قدرات أعضاء هيئة التدريس والتغلب على التحديات التي يفرضها التدريب التقليدي لذا تهدف الدراسة إلى إلقاء الضوء على التدريب الإلكتروني من حيث: (ماهية، وأهداف، وأهمية ومبررات، وأساليب، وأنواع التدريب الإلكتروني، فضلا عن خطوات الإعداد والتجهيز للتدريب الإلكتروني، ودوره في استدامة تنمية قدرات أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعات المصرية. استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج أهمها، أن هناك حاجة ماسة لدمج التدريب الإلكتروني كمدخل رئيس في منظومة تنمية قدرات أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعات المصرية. E-training is one of the most important modern approaches aimed at developing the capabilities of faculty members and overcoming the challenges imposed by traditional training. Therefore, the research aims to shed light on electronic training in terms of: (what, goals, importance, justifications, methods, and types of e-training, as well as steps of preparation for electronic training, and its role in sustaining the development of the capabilities of faculty members in Egyptian universities, the research used the descriptive approach, and conclude many results, the most important of which is that there is an urgent need to integrate electronic training as a key input into the system of developing the capabilities of faculty members at Egyptian universities.
