سعت الدراسة إلى معرفة أهم تحديات تطبيق أساليب دعم السلوك الإيجابي للطلبة ذوي صعوبات التعلم من وجهة نظر معلميهم. طبقت الباحثتان المنهج النوعي المتمثل بدراسة الحالة، واستخدمتا أداة المقابلة الفردية شبه المنظمة لجمع المعلومات للتعرف على وجهات نظر المشاركين في الدراسة وعددهم (10 معلمين ومعلمات) من معلمي صعوبات التعلم في المرحلتين المتوسطة والثانوية بمدينة جدة بالمملكة العربية السعودية. اعتمدت الباحثتان على التحليل الموضوعي لاستخلاص نتائج الدراسة، وكانت أهم النتائج ما يلي: وجود قصور في خلفية المعلمين من حيث الإلمام بالمصطلحات، وندرة الخطط واللوائح والأنظمة التي تعنى بتطبيق أساليب دعم السلوك الإيجابي مع الطلبة ذوي صعوبات التعلم في المرحلة المتوسطة والثانوية، وكذلك وجود ضعف خبرة معلمي ومعلمات صعوبات التعلم في تطبيق أساليب دعم السلوك الإيجابي، بالإضافة إلى وجود قصور في تكامل مهام فريق العمل أثناء تطبيق أساليب دعم السلوك الإيجابي. وبناء على النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة، أوصت الباحثتان بعمل نشرات مرئية ومسموعة بأساليب دعم السلوك الإيجابي، وعمل دليل إرشادي إجرائي لمعلم صعوبات التعلم بالسلوكيات السلبية وإدارتها سلوكيا من خلال كيفية تفعيل دوره في استخدام أساليب دعم السلوك الإيجابي. بناء خطط ولوائح تنظيمية من الجانب السلوكي والاجتماعي من قبل المشرفين في التربية الخاصة وصناع القرار تختص بتفعيل دعم السلوك الإيجابي وتوظيف أساليبه لدى المدارس التي بها برامج صعوبات التعلم في المراحل الدراسية كافة. The primary objective of this study is to pinpoint the principal challenges in the implementation of positive behavior support methods on students with learning difficulties from the perspectives of their teachers. Applying a qualitative research approach, specifically adopting a case study design, the researchers conducted semi structured interviews as the primary data collection tool. The study involved 10 teachers instructing students with learning difficulties in middle and high schools in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Thematic analysis was then applied to scrutinize and interpret the findings. The study reviled several results such as; shortcomings in the application of positive behavior support methods, particularly concerning a nuanced understanding of the associated terminology. The scarcity of plans, regulations, and systems pertaining to the application of positive behavior support methods for students with learning difficulties in middle and high school. Also, there was a dearth of experience among teachers of learning difficulties in implementing positive behavior support methods. Additionally, shortcomings in integrating team tasks in implementing positive behavior support methods. In light of the study's findings, the researchers propose some recommendations such as making visual and audio brochures on positive behavior support methods, creating a procedural guide for the teacher of learning difficulties with negative behaviors and managing them behaviorally through how to activate his/her role in applying positive behavior support methods, making plans, regulations, and systems for the behavioral and social aspect by special education supervisors and decision makers pertaining the activation of positive behavior support and applying its methods in learning difficulties programs at all academic levels.
