سعى البحث إلى التعرف على أثر اختلاف الأسلوب المعرفي (الاندفاع - التروي) على كل من التحصيل المعرفي والأداء المهاري لمهارات استخدام وتصميم قواعد البيانات SQL لدى طلاب شعبة نظم المعلومات الإدارية الدارسين لمقرر قواعد البيانات 2. استخدم الباحث المنهج شبه التجريبي بهدف قياس أثر متغير مستقل أو أكثر على هدف تابع أو أكثر واشتمل البحث على متغير مستقل هو الكتاب الإلكتروني ومتغير تصنيفي (الاندفاع - التروي). استخدم الباحث اختبار إلكتروني تحصيلي مصور للجانب المعرفي وبطاقة ملاحظة للأداء المهاري وتوصل الباحث إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات المجموعات التجريبية في الاختبار التحصيلي والأداء المهاري لصالح الطلاب المتروين واختتم البحث بتقديم مجموعة من البحوث المقترحة والتوصيات. The research sought to identify the impact of the different cognitive styles (impulsivity / deliberation) on both the cognitive achievement and the skill performance of the skills of using and designing SQL databases for students of the Management Information Systems Division studying Databases 2 course. The researcher used the semi-experimental approach in order to measure the effect of an independent variable or more on one or more dependent goals and the research included an independent variable which is the e-book and a categorical variable (impulsivity / deliberation). The researcher used an electronic achievement test for the cognitive aspect and a note card for skill performance. The researcher concluded that there are statistically significant differences between the averages of the experimental groups in the achievement test and skill performance. For the benefit of the educated students, the research concluded by presenting a set of proposed research and recommendations. (Published abstract)
