هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على درجة توافر كفايات التكنولوجيا المساعدة لدى معلمي الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة السمعية الملتحقين ببرامج الدمج بسلطنة عمان، وشارك في الدراسة (84) معلما لذوي الإعاقة السمعية. استخدمت الدراسة مقياسا لكفايات التكنولوجيا المساعدة (إعداد الباحث). أشارت النتائج إلى توافر كفايات التكنولوجيا المساعدة لدى المعلمين بدرجة متوسطة، إلا أن درجة امتلاك المعلمين لكفايات التكنولوجيا المساعدة اختلفت على أبعاد مقياس كفايات التكنولوجيا المساعدة. أوصت الدراسة بضرورة الاهتمام بالتكنولوجيا المساعدة في برامج إعداد المعلمين، وكذلك في البرامج التدريبية المقدمة للمعلمين، وإعداد تلك البرامج على أسس علمية. This study aimed at finding out the degree of possessing the assistive technology competencies among teachers of children with hearing impairment who are enrolled in inclusion programs in the Sultanate of Oman, a total of 84 teachers children with hearing impairment participated in the study. The study used a measure of assistive technology competencies (prepared by the researcher). The results showed that the degree of possessing the Assistive technology competencies among teachers of children with hearing impairment was medium. However, teachers' scores differed on the dimensions of the assistive technology scale. The study recommended the necessity of assistive technology in teacher preparation programs, as well as in training courses offered to teachers, and preparing those courses on scientific grounds.
