هدف البحث تعرف فاعلية وحدة مقترحة في العروض قائمة على نظرية العبء المعرفي في تنمية المهارات العروضية لدى طلاب الصف الثاني الثانوي الأزهري واتجاهاتهم نحو دراسة العروض. اتبع البحث المنهج التجريبي تصميم المجموعة التجريبية الواحدة ذات القياسين القبلي والبعدي، وتكونت مجموعة البحث من (30) طالبا تم اختيارهم من طلاب الصف الثاني الثانوي الأزهري، واشتمل البحث على: قائمة بمهارات العروض المناسبة لعينة البحث، ومقياس تقدير متدرج لقياس الجانب الأدائي لهذه المهارات، واختبار لقياس الجانب المعرفي لها، ومقياس مواقف لمعرفة اتجاهات الطلاب نحو مادة العروض. أشارت نتائج البحث إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطي درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية في التطبيقين القبلي والبعدي لصالح التطبيق البعدي. أوصى البحث بتبني استراتيجيات نظرية العبء المعرفي في تدريس العروض، والأخذ بالمهارات التي تم التوصل إليها، وكذلك الأخذ بأدوات البحث عند تقييم الطلاب في مادة العروض. The aim of the research is to know the effectiveness of a proposed unit in prosody based on the theory of cognitive load in developing the prosody skills of second-grade students of Al-Azhar secondary school and their attitudes towards studying prosody. Their selection from Al-Azhar’s second year secondary students, and the research included: a list of prosody skills appropriate for the research sample, a graded estimation scale to measure the performance aspect of these skills, a test to measure the cognitive aspect of them, and a situational scale to find out students’ attitudes towards the subject of prosody, and the research results indicated that there are significant differences statistically among the average scores of the experimental group students in the two applications, the pre and post applications, in favor of the post application. The research recommended adopting the cognitive load theory strategies in teaching prosody, and adopting the skills that have been reached, as well as adopting the research tools when evaluating students in the prosody subject.
