تناول البحث أحد مستهدفات برنامج التحول الوطني بالسعودية تحقيقا للأهداف الاستراتيجية لروية 2030، وهو العمل التطوعي خاصة بالجامعات، وذلك بتنمية العمل التطوعي لدى طلاب وطالبات الجامعة لتعزيز الانتماء الوطني لديهم. تكونت عينة البحث من (120) طالبا وطالبة من جامعة الأمير سطام. لتحقيق هدف البحث تم اقتراح إنشاء "وحدة العمل التطوعي" بجامعة الأمير سطام، وتطلب ذلك دراسة واقع العمل التطوعي بين طلاب وطالبات الجامعة، ثم وضع الملامح، والهيكل التنظيمي لوحدة العمل التطوعي، وتحديد المهام والصلاحيات خلال استبانة مصممة لذلك. توصل البحث إلى حاجة الجامعة إلى تنمية الأعمال التطوعية بها، واقتراح إنشاء وحدة للعمل التطوعي، التي يتم عن طريقها التنسيق والتنظيم للأعمال التطوعية . لتعزيز الانتماء الوطني، والتوافق مع متطلبات رؤية المملكة 2030. The research deals with one of the objectives of the National Transformation Program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in order to achieve the strategic goals of Vision 2030, which is volunteer work, especially in universities, by developing volunteer work among university students to reinforce their national belonging. To achieve this, it was proposed to establish a "Volunteer Work Unit" at Prince Sattam University, and this required studying the reality of volunteer work among male and female students of the university, then setting the features and organizational structure of the volunteer work unit at the university, and defining tasks and powers through a questionnaire designed for that, and the research sample was formed from (120) male and female students from Prince Sattam University. The research concluded that the university needs to develop its voluntary work, and proposes the establishment of a volunteer work unit, through which volunteer work is coordinated and organized to reinforce belonging and conform to the requirements of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
