هدف البحث إلى الكشف عن دور معلمي العلوم في المرحلة المتوسطة بمنطقة مكة المكرمة في تنمية الحس العلمي لدى طلبتهم. لتحقيق أهداف البحث، تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي من خلال تطبيق استبانة تكونت من (37) عبارة فرعية، اندرجت تحت ثلاثة محاور رئيسية، هي: واقع معلمي العلوم في تنمية الحس العلمي لدى طلبتهم، الصعوبات التي تواجه معلمي العلوم في تنمية الحس العلمي لدى طلبتهم، الأساليب المناسبة لمعلمي العلوم في تنمية الحس العلمي لدى طلبتهم. تم تطبيق الاستبانة على عينة عشوائية بلغ عددها (153) من معلمي ومعلمات العلوم في المرحلة المتوسطة بمنطقة مكة المكرمة. أشارت النتائج إلى أن مستوى واقع معلمي العلوم في تنمية الحس العلمي لدى طلبتهم جاء بدرجة كبيرة، بمتوسط حسابي (3.89)، وأن مستوى الصعوبات التي تواجه معلمي العلوم في تنمية الحس العلمي لدى طلبتهم جاءت بدرجة كبيرة، بمتوسط حسابي (3.69)، وأن الأساليب المناسبة لمعلمي العلوم في تنمية الحس العلمي لدى طلبتهم جاءت بدرجة كبيرة، بمتوسط حسابي (4.05). أوصى البحث بضرورة تدريب معلمي العلوم على تنمية الحس العلمي لدى الطلاب، وتضمين هذه المهارات في المناهج، وتشجيع المعلمين على استخدامها في التدريس. The aim of the research is to investigate the role of science teachers in the intermediate stage in the Mecca region in developing scientific sense among their students. To achieve the research objectives, a descriptive survey approach was employed through the application of a questionnaire consisting of (37) substatements, categorized into three main axes: the reality of science teachers in developing scientific sense among their students, the challenges facing science teachers in developing scientific sense among their students, and the appropriate methods for science teachers in developing scientific sense among their students. The questionnaire was administered to a random sample of (153) male and female science teachers in the intermediate stage in the Mecca region. The results indicated that the level of the reality of science teachers in developing scientific sense among their students was high, with an average score of (3.89), and that the level of challenges facing science teachers in developing scientific sense among their students was high, with an average score of (3.69), while the appropriate methods for science teachers in developing scientific sense among their students were rated high, with an average score of (4.05). The research recommended the necessity of training science teachers in developing students' scientific sense, integrating these skills into the curricula, and encouraging teachers to use them in teaching.
