The aim of the present study was to explore the relationship between premenstrual syndrome and some psychopathological symptoms (i.e., depression, anxiety, hostility, and OCD). The study sample consisted of 329 female students of King Saud University art and science colleges, (mean age = 21.19, SD = 1.47). Descriptive correlational method was employed to examine the relationship between the study variables data that was gathered. Study tools consisted of Menstrual Symptoms Check List, prepared by Alsubaiei, (2005), Pathological Symptoms, translated and prepared by Albuhairi (1984), and a biographical data form, prepared by the researcher. All tools validity and reliability indicators were examined. The following findings were reached: there is a significant positive relationship between premenstrual symptoms and the psychopathological symptoms (i.e., depression, anxiety, hostility, and OCD).
