يعتبر القطاع التعليمي من أهم القطاعات التي توليها الدولة أهمية كبيرة؛ لذلك تسعى إلى تحسين وتطوير مهارات مديري المدرسة القيادية في سبيل دعم وتحقيق أهداف العملية التعليمية. حيث تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على درجة ممارسة مديري المدارس الحكومية لدورهم القيادي في دعم العملية التعليمية، من وجهة نظر المعلمين في مدينة إربد، وسبل تطويرها. اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي من خلال تصميم استبانة وتوزيعها على عينة بلغت (320) من معلمي المدارس الحكومية في مدينة إربد. أظهرت الدراسة أن درجة ممارسة مديري المدارس الحكومة في مدينة إربد لدورهم القيادي (قيادة التغيير، الابتكار، والأخلاق) مرتفعة من وجهة نظر المعلمين. أظهرت أيضا وجود فروق في درجة ممارسة مديري المدارس الحكومية لدورهم القيادي لدعم العملية التعليمية. من وجهة نظر المعلمين تعزى لمتغير الجنس، ولصالح الإناث، لمتغير سنوات الخبرة، ولصالح من يملكون خبرة أقل من 5 سنوات، لمتغير المرحلة التعليمية في المدرسة، ولصالح المرحلة الابتدائية، وعدم وجود فروق تعزى لمتغير المؤهل العلمي. أوصت الدراسة بضرورة إعداد دليل إشادي للدور القيادي لمديري المدارس، بهدف نشر وتعميم المهارات القيادة الداعمة للعملية التعليمية بين جميع مدراء المدارس في الأردن. The educational sector is one of the most important sectors that the state attaches great importance to, and that is why it seeks to improve and develop the school leadership skills in order to support and achieve the educational process goals. This study aims to identify the degree of public-school principals 'practice of their leadership role in supporting the educational process from the teachers' point of view in Irbid, and ways to develop it. This study used the descriptive approach by designing a questionnaire and distributing it to a sample of 320 public school teachers in Irbid. The study showed that the degree of government school principals in Irbid city exercising their leadership role (change leadership, innovation, and ethics) is high from the teachers' viewpoint. It also showed that there are differences in the degree of public school principals' exercise of their leadership role to support the educational process from the teachers' point of view due to the variable of gender and in favor of females, to the variable years of experience and in favor of those who have less than 5 years of experience, to the variable of the educational stage in the school and in favor of the primary stage, and there are no differences attributable to for the educational qualification variable. The study recommended the need to prepare a guide for the leadership role of school principals in order to disseminate leadership skills that support the educational process among all school principals in Jordan.
