هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع تطوير مهارات أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة المجمعة والمتعلقة بالمهارات التقنية والتدريسية والبحثية، والكشف عن الاتجاهات العالمية المعاصرة في تطوير هذه المهارات. كما هدفت إلى تحديد أبرز معوقات تطوير هذه المهارات وفحص الفروق في إجابات أفراد العينة بناء على سنوات الخبرة، مع تقديم مقترحات لتطوير مهارات أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة المجمعة في ضوء الاتجاهات العالمية. اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي (المسحي والوثائقي). استخدمت الاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات من (310) أعضاء هيئة تدريس من أصل (1597). أظهرت النتائج موافقة أفراد العينة على برامج تطوير المهارات بمتوسط (3.84 من 5)، حيث كانت أبرز ملامح التطوير في المهارات التقنية، مثل استخدام نظام إدارة التعلم الإلكتروني D2L، والمهارات التدريسية مثل مهارات تقويم الطلاب، والمهارات البحثية مثل الالتزام بأخلاقيات البحث العلمي. كشفت الدراسة عن معوقات عدة لتطوير المهارات، منها زيادة الأعباء الوظيفية وتعارض مواعيد البرامج التدريبية مع المحاضرات. كما لم توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في اتجاهات أفراد العينة بناءً على سنوات الخبرة. The study aimed to identify the current state of faculty skills development at Majmaah University concerning technical, teaching, and research skills, as well as to uncover contemporary global trends in developing these skills. It also aimed to identify the main obstacles to skills development and to examine differences in responses among the sample based on years of experience, while providing suggestions for improving faculty skills at Majmaah University in light of global trends. The study employed a descriptive (survey and documentary) methodology and used a questionnaire to collect data from 310 faculty members out of 1597. The results showed that the sample agreed on the effectiveness of the skills development programs with an average of 3.84 out of 5. The most notable aspects of development were in technical skills, such as the use of the D2L learning management system, teaching skills, such as student assessment skills, and research skills, such as adherence to research ethics. The study revealed several obstacles to skills development, including increased job burdens and scheduling conflicts between training programs and lectures. Additionally, no statistically significant differences were found in the attitudes of the sample members based on years of experience. (Published abstract)
