هدف البحث تقديم تصور مقترح للجَدارة البحثية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة الأزهر. ولتحقيق ذلك تمّ استخدام المنهج الوصفي، والاستبانة كأداة للبحث موزعة على عينة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة الأزهر بلغ عددها(400)، لتعرف درجة ممارسة وأهمية الجَدارات البحثية المقترحة من وجهة نظرهم. وتوصل إلى مجموعة من النتائج من أهمها: جاء مستوى موافقة أفراد العينة على إجمالي أبعاد جَدارة البحث العلمي والذي يشمل (جدارات امتلاك مهارات البحث العلمي، وتطوير مهارات البحث العلمي، وقيادة فريق بحثي) فيما يتعلق بالتوافر بدرجة (متوسطة)، في حين جاءت موافقة أفراد العينة على أبعاد هذا المجال فيما يتعلق بالأهمية بدرجة (كبيرة). The aim of the research is to present a proposed conception of the research competency of the faculty members at Al-Azhar University. To achieve this, the descriptive approach and the questionnaire were used as a research tool distributed to a sample of (400) faculty members at Al-Azhar University, to know the degree of practice and importance of the proposed research competencies from their point of view. To a set of results, the most important of which are: The level of approval of the sample members on the total dimensions of scientific research competency, which includes (the competencies of possessing scientific research skills, developing scientific research skills, and leading a research team) with regard to availability at a (medium) degree, while the sample members’ approval of the dimensions This area with respect to the degree of importance (high).
