هدف البحث لإلقاء الضوء على "الهوتاغوجيا" كأحد أهم النظريات وأحدثها أو الرؤى العالمية المعاصرة التي تناولت تعليم الكبار والتعليم المستمر. والسعي لتقديم إطار نظري شامل ومتكامل حول الهوتاغوجيا باللغة العربية، نظرا لشح المصادر العربية التي تناولتها، من خلال التعرف إلى مفهوم الهوتاغوجيا وتعريفاتها ونشأتها وأسسها النظرية وخصائصها ومهاراتها التعلمية ومراحل عملية التعلم وأهم الافتراضات الأساسية لها والأدوار المنوطة بالمعلم والمتعلم والمؤسسة التعليمية. وعرض أبرز الفروقات بينها وبين الأندراغوجيا باعتبارها النظرية الأخرى الأشهر والأسبق في مجال تعليم الكبار والتعليم المستمر. وأخيرا قدمت عدد من التوصيات والتطبيقات التربوية المستقاة من الهوتاغوجيا للاستفادة منها عمليًّا في تطبيقات تعليم الكبار والتعليم المستمر بكافة أشكالها. This paper aims to provide insight into "Heutagogy" as one of the most essential and contemporary global theories or visions for adult and continuing education. It offers a comprehensive and integrated theoretical framework on Heutagogy in Arabic, given the shortage of Arabic sources that cover it. This encompasses exploring the concept of Heutagogy, defining it, tracing its origins and theoretical foundations, highlighting its features and learning skills, mapping the stages of the learning process, identifying its fundamental assumptions, outlining the roles assigned to the teacher, the learner, and the educational institution as well as comparing it with Andragogy, the other most well-known and earlier theory in the field of adult and continuing education. Finally, several educational recommendations and applications derived from Heutagogy are presented for practical use in adult and continuing education applications in all forms. (Published abstract)
