هدف البحث إلى معرفة واقع وأثر ضغوط العمل التي يتعرض لها طلبة الدكتوراه في تخصص الإدارة التربوية، وواقع إدارتهم لها. استخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وذلك للتعرف على واقع ضغوط العمل التي تواجه طلبة الدكتوراه من وجهة نظرهم. ومعرفة أثر ضغوط العمل عليهم من وجهة نظرهم، بالإضافة إلى معرفة واقع إدارتهم لضغوط العمل التي يواجهونها من وجهة نظرهم، كما تم التوصل إلى معرفة الفروق ذات الدلالة الإحصائية في ضغوط العمل عند مستوى الدلالة (α = 0.05) والتي يمكن أن تعزى لمتغير (العمر - الجنس). تكونت عينة البحث من (118) طالبا وطالبة، يمثلون ما نسبته (38%) من حجم مجتمع البحث، وتم اختيارهم بطريقة العينة العشوائية البسيطة، وكانت أداة البحث هي استبانة صممها الباحث. توصلت نتائج البحث إلى أن واقع ضغوط العمل التي تواجه طلبة الدكتوراه كانت بدرجة متوسطة، وأبرز ملامح واقع ضغوط العمل التي تواجه طلبة الدكتوراه تتمثل في العبارة: كثيرا ما يكون نجاحي في عملي على حساب أسرتي وحياتي الخاصة، وكانت أبرز ملامح واقع إدارة ضغوط العمل التي تواجه طلبة الدكتوراه تتمثل في العبارة: أحاول الموازنة دوما بين حياتي الخاصة ودراستي. ومن أبرز توصيات البحث أن تسعى إدارات أقسام الإدارة التربوية إلى إيجاد مناخ تنظيمي جيد، يتيح للطلبة أكبر قدر من الانفتاح والتواصل مع الآخرين، والعمل على تقنين الأعباء الدراسية على طلبة الدكتوراه بالجامعات السعودية. The main goal of this research is to understand the reality and the impact of work stress that PHD students are exposed to in educational management area, and how they can management it. The research used the descriptive survey method, in order to identify the reality of the work stress that exposed to PhD students from their point of view. Releasing the impact of work stress from their point of view is vital to understand the reality of their management of work stress they face from their point of view. We found out that the statistically significant differences in work stress at the significance level α = 0.05, which can be attributed to the variable (age - gender). The research sample consisted of (118) male and female students, representing 38% of the size of the research population which was choosing by the simple random sampling method. The research tool was a questionnaire that designed by the researcher. The results of the research concluded that the reality of the work stress exposed to PHD students was of a medium degree, the most prominent features of the reality of work stress exposed to PHD students are represented in the clause: My success in my work often comes at the expense of my family and my private life. The most prominent features of the reality of managing the work stress exposed to PhD students are represented in the clause: I always try to balance between my private life and my studies. One of the most important recommendations of the research is that the departments of educational management seek to create a good organizational environment that allows students the greatest area of openness and communication with others, and to work on legalizing the study loads for PHD students in Saudi universities.
