هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن العلاقة بين عادات العقل وفاعلية الذات لدى عينة من طلبة الصف التاسع والعاشر في محافظة الظاهرة بسلطنة عمان، ومعرفة الفروق فيها تبعا لمتغير الجنس والصف الدراسي. وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من (416) طالبا وطالبة، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم إستخدام المنهج الوصفي الإرتباطي، وتم تطبيق مقياس عادات العقل الذي أعده (حجات، 2008)، ومقياس فاعلية الذات لـ (العلا والعظامات، 2019)، وقد أظهرت النتائج أن مستوى فاعلية الذات لدى الطلبة جاء مرتفعا، كما أظهرت الدراسة وجود علاقة إرتباطية دالة إحصائيا بين عادات العقل وفاعلية الذات لدى عينة الدراسة، كما أظهرت الدراسة بأنه لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا في عادات العقل تعزى لمتغير الجنس، ووجود فروق دالة إحصائيا تعزى لمتغير الصف، وأظهرت كذلك الدراسة أنه لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا في فاعلية الذات تعزى لمتغير الجنس والصف. The study aimed to identify the relationship between the habits of the mind and the self-efficacy among a sample of ninth and tenth grade students in the al Dhahirah governorate. The sample of the study consisted of (416) students. To achieve the objectives of the study, the relational descriptive approach was used. The results of the study showed that the habit of perseverance came first as the most habits of mind used by the study sample and the habit of thinking beyond the cognitive came as the last habit of the mind used. As the study showed that, the level of self-efficacy was high among the study sample, and there was a correlation relationship. The study sample showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the habits of the mind due to the gender variable, and that there are differences attributed to the class variable. The study also showed that there are no statistically significant differences in self-efficacy attributable to the gender and grade variable. (Published abstract)
