هدفت الدراسة للتعرف على معوقات الإبداع لدى الطلبة في المدارس الأهلية في مدينة بيت ساحور من وجهة نظر معلميهم. وقد اشتمل مجتمع الدراسة على جميع معلمي ومعلمات المدارس الأهلية في بيت ساحور وتكونت العينة من 36معلماً-ة تم اختيارهم عشوائيا بنسبة 30% من حجم المجتمع الأصلي. وقد تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي في هذه الدراسة واعتماد المقابلة والاستبانة كأداتين للدراسة. أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة أن أكثر المعيقات شيوعا كانت تتعلق بالمنهاج، تبعها المعيقات المتعلقة بالطالب ثم المعيقات المتعلقة بالإدارة المدرسية، وأخيرا المعيقات المتعلقة بالمعلم. وخلصت الدراسة الى التوصيات الآتية: 1) تطوير المناهج ومحتواها وعرضها بأسلوب شيق يشجع البحث والتجريب ويلبي حاجات الطلبة ويعزز مواهبهم مع التنويع في أساليب التقويم بعيداً عن الاختبارات التقليدية. 2) تشجيع وتحفيز الطلبة للمبادرة وعدم الخوف من الوقوع في الخطأ، ومراعاة تقليل أعداد الطلبة في الصف الواحد. 3) ضرورة اهتمام الإدارة المدرسية بتنمية الإبداع لدى الطلبة من خلال جدولة وإدراج حصص خاصة بالأنشطة الإبداعية ضمن نصاب الحصص الأسبوعي للمعلم. 4) الاهتمام بتوفير فرص تدريب للمعلم وتزويده باستراتيجيات وأساليب تعليم وتعلم تدعم الإبداع لدى الطلبة وتطوير أسلوب النقاش والأسئلة والحدَ من الأسئلة المغلقة والتقليدية والتوجه للأسئلة المفتوحة والتي تثير مهارات التفكير الإبداعي لدى الطلبة. This study aimed to identify the obstacles of creativity among students. The population of the study included all the teachers in these schools. The sample contained 36 teachers who were chosen randomly with a percentage of 30% using the descriptive techniques. The used tools are an interview and a questionnaire that included four dimensions of obstacles related to teachers, students, curricula and school administration. The result of the study found that the most common obstacle is related to the curricula followed by the students and then to the administration of the school and finally those obstacles related to the teacher. The study ended with the following recommendations: 1) The development of the curricula and the content and demonstrating it in an exciting way to encourage the exploration, research and students’ talents. 2) Urging students to take the initiative without getting worried of making errors. 3) The school administration must support the students’ creativity through specifying certain lessons for creative activities. 4) Intensifying special training for teachers in creativity besides improving the methods of discussion, questions and evaluation.
