هدفت الدراسة إلى بيان أثر استخدام نموذج فراير لتنمية المفاهيم العلمية في مادة العلوم والحياة لدى طلاب الصف الرابع الأساسي، اعتمدت الدراسة المنهج التجريبي، تمثلت أداة الدراسة في اختبار المفاهيم العلمية، دليل المعلم لنموذج فراير، وتمثلت عينة الدراسة في (63) طالبًا من طلاب مدرسة المعتصم بالله الأساسية للبنين، مُوزّعين على مجموعتين تجريبيّة وعددُها (31) طالبَا، درست في ضوءِ نموذجِ فراير، وضابطة وعددُها (32) طالبَا. وتوصّلت الدّراسةُ إلى النّتائجِ الآتية: وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (α=0.01) بين متوسط درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية ومتوسط درجات طلاب المجموعة الضابطة في اختبار المفاهيم العلمية. تم طرح عدداً من التوصيات أبرزها: 1) توظيف نموذج فراير في مادة العلوم من قبل مخططي المناهج، لعلاقة ذلك بمراعات خصائص الطلاب، 2) توفير الأنشطة المناسبة لمستوى تفكيرهم، وكذلك المتابعة المستمرة للمعلمين لحثهم على تطبيق نموذج فراير من قبل المشرفين التربويين، وذلك لضمان استخدام هذا النموذج في التدريس. The study aimed to demonstrate the effect of using the Freyer model to develop scientific concepts in science and life among fourth-grade students. The study adopted the experimental method. The study tool was to test scientific concepts, the teacher’s guide to the Freyer model, and the study sample consisted of (63) students from the school. Al-Mu'tasim Billah Basic A for boys, distributed into two experimental groups, numbering (31) students, studied considering the Fryer model, and a control group, numbering (32) students. The study reached the following results: There were statistically significant differences at the level (α=0.01) between the average grades and the students of the experimental group and the average scores of the students of the control group in the scientific concepts test. A number of recommendations, the most prominent of which are: 1) Employing the Fryer model in science by curriculum planners, as this is related to taking into account the characteristics of the students and providing activities appropriate to their level of thinking, 2) Continuous follow-up of teachers to urge them to apply the Fryer model of Before educational supervisors, in order to ensure the use of this model in teaching.
