هدفت الدّراسة إلى استقصاء فاعلية تدريس وحدة "الهضم والنقل، وتبادل الغازات"، من محتوى الأحياء للصف الحادي عشر، باستخدام استراتيجية التّعلم بالدّماغ ذي الجانبين على تحصيلهم الدّراسي، وتنمية مهارات التّفكير النّاقد لديهم مقارنة مع الطّريقة الاعتيادية في الأردن. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف أُعتمد التصميم شبه التجريبي في هذه الدراسة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (36) طالبةً، تم تقسيمهن إلى مجموعتين: مجموعة ضابطة، وتضم (18) طالبةً، ومجموعة تجريبية، وتضم (18) طالبةً من الصف الحادي عشر في محافظة المفرق في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، من إحدى مدارس قضاء بلعما في الفصل الدراسي الأول (2021-2022)، حيث تم تدريس وحدة "الهضم والنقل وتبادل الغازات" وفق إستراتيجية التعلم بالدماغ ذي الجانبين للمجموعة التجريبية، وتدّريس نفس المحتوى بالطريقة الاعتيادية للمجموعة الضّابطة. وكشفت نتائج الدّراسة عن وجود فرق دال إحصائياً بين المتوسطين الحسابيين لدرجات طالبات المجموعتين، في كل من الاختبار التّحصيلي، واختبار مهارات التّفكير النّاقد، وكان الفرق لصالح المجموعة التّجريبية. This study aimed to investigate the effect of teaching the unit "digestion, transport and gas exchange" from the biology content of the first secondary grade by using learning with the two sides of the brain on their academic achievement and developing their critical thinking skills compared with the usual method of teaching biology. To achieve this goal, the quasi-experimental approach was adopted in this study, and the study sample consisted of (38) female students who were divided into two groups: a control group comprising (18) female students, and an experimental group comprising (18) female students from the eleventh grade to two different divisions in Mafraq Governorate in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from one of the schools in Balama District for the first semester (2021-2022), where the unit "Digestion, Transport and Gas Exchange" was taught according to the two-brain learning strategy for the experimental group and the same content was taught in the usual way for the control group. The results revealed a statistically significant difference between the two arithmetic averages of the scores of the students of the two groups in both the achievement test and the critical thinking skills test, and the difference was in favor of the experimental group.
