هدفت الدراسة الحالية تعرف أثر نموذج التعليم البنائي في مبحث اللغة العربية في الاستيعاب القرائي وتنمية التفكير الناقد لدى طلبة الصف التاسع في دولة الكويت. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (48) طالباً تم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين إحداهما تجريبية تكونت من (24) طالباً، والآخرى ضابطة وتكونت من (24) طالباً. تم استخدام المنهج شبه التجريبي، وتم استخدام ثلاث أدوات من تصميم الباحث تمثلت في مقياس التفكير الناقد، وإختبار تحصيلي للإستيعاب القرائي، وبرنامج التعليم البنائي. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة فاعلية التعليم البنائي في مبحث اللغة العربية في تنمية الاستيعاب القرائي وفي تنمية التفكير الناقد لدى طلبة الصف التاسع في دولة الكويت. وفي ضوء النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة تم تقديم عدد من التوصيات أهمها: ضرورة الاهتمام بالأساليب التعليمية التي تزيد من مستوى الإستيعاب القرائي لدى الطلاب، الاهتمام بتنمية التفكير الناقد لدى الطلبة. The study aimed to know the effect of learning strategy in the Arabic language study in the reading comprehension and critical thinking among ninth-grade students in Kuwait in a semi-experimental design. The study sample consisted of (48) students that were divided equally into the experimental and control group. The researcher used three tools designed by researchers which are; the critical thinking scale, the achievement test of reading comprehension and constructivist learning model. The results showed a significant effect of the constructivist learning model on Arabic reading comprehension and critical thinking among ninth-grade students in the State of Kuwait. In view of the findings of the study, a number of recommendations were submitted, including: using Constructivist Learning Model activities in improving the level of reading comprehension and critical thinking among students.
