هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على الشخصية النرجسية ونسب انتشارها بين طلبة جامعة اليرموك. وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من (927) طالبا وطالبة، إذ بلغ عدد الذكور (243) طالباً، والإناث (684) طالبة، تم اختيارهم بالطريقة المتيسرة من طلبة الجامعة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدم مقياس مقدادي والشريفين (2020)، والمطور استنادا إلى المحكات التشخيصية لاضطراب الشخصية النرجسية، الواردة في الدليل التشخيصي والإحصائي للاضطرابات العقلية، الطبعة الخامسة. وقد أظهرت نتائج اختبار (x2) للاستقلال وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الذكور والإناث حول نسب انتشار اضطراب الشخصية النرجسية، كانت لصالح الإناث، وهذا يعني أن نسبة الإناث ممن لديهن اضطراب الشخصية النرجسية، كانت أعلى من نسبة الذكور. The study aimed to identify the narcissistic personality among Yarmouk University students, and its prevalence rates. The study used a sample consisting of 927 students (243 males and 684 female) chosen by the availability sampling method. To achieve the purpose of the study, the scale of Miqdadi and Sharifian (2020) was used and developed based on the diagnostic criteria for narcissistic personality disorder contained in the diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders, fifth edition DSM-5™. The results of x² test for independence revealed statistically significant differences between males and females about the prevalence of narcissistic personality disorder in favor of females.
