The study aims to know the effectiveness of a proposed scale to discover the skills in guiding male and female students for the appropriate university specialization and to determine the most appropriate fields for third-grade students and thus seek to join them in the university specialization that is appropriate to their skills and capabilities, and in order to complete the goal of the study, researchers prepared the proposed standard for discovering and identifying the skills of male and female students, and the scale consists of ten main skills: management and innovation skills, computer and technical skills, speech and expression skills, and work according to laws, engineering skills, Edda skill Of community design projects, areas of scientific skills, skills of concern for the environment, history, astronomy and geography skills, leadership skills and interaction with others, negotiation skills and persuasion. Each of these main skills contains five phrases that the student answers yes or no, to know the availability of the skill, and the random sample that participated in answering the proposed scale consisted of 576 students from the third secondary class students in the Qassim region, and the results of the study resulted On the effectiveness of the scale in determining the skills of students and helping them to choose the most appropriate specialization that corresponds to their skills and abilities, and determining the areas of specialization that best suit the skills of male and female students, and determining the skills in which male students outperform female students, and the skills in which female students outperform male students.
