This study aimed to measure self-assertion among students of the College of Applied Sciences- Ibri, Sultanate of Oman, and to identify whether there are statistically significant differences in the impact of both academic specialization and gender on the degrees of self-assertion of students or not. The sample of the study included 98 available samples of students and the measurement method was prepared the researcher. The results showed that self-assertion of the college’s students reached (3.22) average arithmetic, and (0.3590) standard deviation which is a moderate degree, as the study results showed no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α≤0.05) between males and females in the level of the measure of self-affirmation. The results also showed that there are no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α≤0.05) depending on academic specialization variable (Business Administration, Information Technology and Graphic Design).
