The study aimed at identifying the effect of implementing enrichment activities on developing awareness of climate change (cognitive, emotional, and behavioral) of fifth and sixth grade male and female students in the Kingdom of Bahrain. A semi-experimental method with one experimental group (pre-post design) was employed. The study's sample consisted of 391 students (219 males and 182 females) from grades five (n= 197) to six (n=197). Enrichment activities focusing on the concepts of climate change were applied in the science and social science curriculum. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences (p< 0.001) between the pre and posttests in the cognitive and behavioral dimensions of the Awareness of Climate Change Scale (ACC) as well as the total score. The results showed that there were no statistically differences between male and female students. Finally, there were statistically significant differences between fifth and sixth grade students in the emotional and behavioral dimensions of the (ACC) as well as the total score. Many recommendations were suggested, of which the most important one was providing attention to emotional aspects while implementing enriching activities within the topic of climate change.
