The study aimed to know the attitudes of the tenth-grade students towards homework in the science subject in Suwaiq State at the Sultanate of Oman. The study sample consisted of (302) male and female students who were randomly selected from ten schools in Suwaiq state. To collect study data, the researcher designed a questionnaire consisting of three domains, which focused on the importance of homework and motivation to accomplishing homework and solving homework. After verifying the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, it was applied to the study sample. The results of the study revealed that tenth grade students have positive attitudes towards homework. There are statistically significant differences between the attitudes of male and female students towards homework for the benefit of female students. Based on the results, the study recommended a set of recommendations and gave some appropriate and relevant proposals. (Published abstract)
