سعت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن اتجاهات طلبة وطالبات الصف الثالث الثانوي في مملكة البحرين بالالتحاق بمهنة التدريس في المستقبل من وجهة نظرهم في العام الدراسي 2022. تم اختيار عينة عشوائية مكونة من (400) طالب وطالبة. وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي من خلال بناء مقياس الاتجاهات نحو مهنة التدريس والذي تكون في صورته النهائية من (20) فقرة، وبعد إجراء الأساليب الإحصائية الخاصة بصدق وثبات المقياس تم تطبيقه على أفراد العينة. أشارت النتائج إلى أن اتجاهات أفراد العينة نحو مهنة التدريس كانت متدنية، كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في اتجاهات أفراد العينة نحو مهنة التدريس تعزى لمتغيري الجنس ولصالح الذكور. وفي ضوء تلك النتائج أوصت الدراسة بضرورة زيادة الوعي بأهمية مهنة التدريس لتغير النظرة الاجتماعية نحو تلك المهنية، وزيادة الحوافز المادية والمعنوية لتحسين الاتجاهات نجو مهنة التدريس. This study sought to reveal the attitudes of male and female students of the third year of secondary school in the Kingdom of Bahrain to join the teaching profession in the future from their point of view in the academic year 2022. A random sample of (400) male and female students was selected. The descriptive analytical approach was used by constructing a scale of attitudes towards the teaching profession, which in its final form consisted of (20) paragraphs, and after conducting statistical methods for the validity and reliability of the scale, it was applied to the sample members. The results indicated that the attitudes of the sample members towards the teaching profession were low. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the attitudes of the sample members towards the teaching profession due to the variables of sex and in favor of males. In light of these results, the study recommended the need to increase awareness of the importance of the teaching profession to change the social outlook towards that profession, and to increase material and moral incentives to improve attitudes towards the teaching profession.
