هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على فاعلية الوحدة الدراسية المطورة المقترحة القائمة على برنامج جيوجبرا (GeoGebra)، في تنمية مهارات التفكير البصري، لدى طالبات الصف الأول الثانوي. استخدمت الباحثة في الدراسة المنهج شبه التجريبي، حيث يضم مجتمعها (1300) طالبة، أُختيرت عينة عشوائية بسيطة للدراسة مكونة من (46) طالبة. أعدت الباحثة مواد الدراسة المتمثلة في الوحدة المقترحة، كما أعدت الباحثة اختبار مهارات التفكير البصري. أسفرت نتائج الدراسة عن فاعلية الوحدة الدراسية المطورة المقترحة القائمة على برنامج جيوجبرا (GeoGebra) في تنمية مهارات التفكير البصري وبحجم تأثير كبير في مهارات قراءة الأشكال البصرية - تحليل الأشكال البصرية - استنتاج المعاني من الشكل البصري - المهارات بشكلٍ كلي، وبحجم تأثير متوسط في مهارة تفسير المعلومات على الشكل البصري لدى طالبات الصف الأول الثانوي. وقد أوصت الدراسة بإعادة النظر في محتوى كتاب الرياضيات للصف الأول الثانوي، وخاصة فصول الهندسة، بحيث تقدّم وتدرّس وفق برنامج جيوجبرا (GeoGebra). This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the proposed developed unit based on the GeoGebra program in developing visual thinking skills among first-grade secondary school female students. The study used the quasi-experimental approach, the study population consisted of (1300) female students, selected simple random sample consisting of (46) female. The researcher prepared the study materials represented in the proposed unit, also prepared a test of visual thinking skills. The findings of the study resulted in the effectiveness of the proposed developed study unit based on GeoGebra program in developing visual thinking skills with high effect size reading visual shapes - analyzing visual shapes – inferring meanings from the visual shape - skills as a whole, and with medium effect size of the skills of interpreting information on the visual shape for first grade secondary school students. The study recommended reformulating mathematics courses in the first year of secondary education, especially geometry courses, so that they are presented and taught according to the GeoGebra program.
