هدف البحث إلى تحديد العلاقة بين مهارات التنظيم الذاتي وصعوبات تعلم القراءة لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية، والكشف عن الفروق في مهارات التنظيم الذاتي، وصعوبات تعلم القراءة بين الذكور والإناث من تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية، وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي. وتكونت عينة البحث من (30) تلميذ وتلميذة بالصف السادس بالمرحلة الابتدائية بواقع (19) تلميذ و(11) تلميذة وتراوحت أعمارهم الزمنية ما بين (11-12) عاما بمتوسط عمري قدره (11.4) عاما وانحراف معياري قدره (0.729). اشتملت مقاييس الدراسة على مقياس التنظيم الذاتي (إعداد فوقية رضوان، 2012)، وبطارية صعوبات تعلم القراءة (إعداد فتحي الزيات، 2007). أظهرت النتائج وجود علاقة ارتباطية عكسية وذات دلالة إحصائية بين درجات مهارات التنظيم الذاتي صعوبات تعلم القراءة لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية، كما أظهرت النتائج عدم جود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطي درجات الذكور والإناث من تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية على مقياس التنظيم الذاتي، وصعوبات تعلم القراءة. This research aimed to determine the relationship between self-regulation skills and reading difficulties among primary school students, and to detect differences in self-regulation skills and reading difficulties between male and female primary school students. Male and female students in the sixth grade in the primary stage, with (19) male and (11) female students, and their ages ranged between (11-12) years, with an average age of (11.4) years, and a standard deviation of (0.729), and the study measures included: the scale of organization Self-prepared by: Fawqiya Radwan (2012), and the Battery of Reading Learning Difficulties prepared by Fathi Al-Zayyat (2007). The results showed that there is an inverse and statistically significant correlation between the degrees of self-regulation skills, difficulties in learning reading among primary school students, and the results showed that there were no significant differences. Statistics between the mean scores of males and females of primary school students on the scale of self-regulation and difficulties in learning to read. (Published abstract)
