The study aims to identify the relationship between social support forms, self-assertion and aggressive behavior among adolescents, and to determine the differences in levels of self-assertion, aggressive behavior and social support due to gender and academic level. The stratified random sample of this correlation comparative study consisted of (382) adolescents and adolescents from secondary stage in Batna, (159) males, and (223) females, their ages ranged between (15-18) years. The study tools were the self- assertion Questionnaire prepared by the researcher, the aggressive Behavior Questionnaire prepared by Amal Abdel Sami Abada and The Social Support Questionnaire Prepared by the researcher. The results are: 1) There is a medium level of self-assertion and aggressive behavior, and a high level of social support among the study sample. 2) There is no a statistically significant correlation between self-assertion and the aggressive behavior dimensions among the study sample. 3) There is a positive statistically significant relationship between the social support forms and self-assertion, and a negative statistically significant relationship between the social support forms and the aggressive behavior among the study sample. 4) There are no statistically significant differences in the level of self-assertion due to gender, and there are statistically significant differences due to the academic level among the study sample. 5) There are statistically significant differences in the level of aggressive behavior among the study sample due to gender and academic level. 6) There are statistically significant differences in the level of social support among the study sample due to the gender in the two dimensions of informational support and discretionary support for females. 7) There are statistically significant differences in the level of social support among the study sample due to academic level in the discretionary support and social companionship dimensions for third-year students. 8) The discretionary social support dimension contributes to predicting the degrees of self- assertion, and social companionship dimension in predicting the degrees of aggressive behavior among the study sample.
