هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة واقع المسؤولية الاجتماعية لدى طلبة المدارس الثانوية شمال المملكة وسبل تنميتها والتحقق من اختلافها تبعا لمتغيرات الجنس والفرع، واتبعت في الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التطويري ولجمع البيانات طورت الباحثتان أداة لقياس مستويات المسؤولية الاجتماعية صممت بناء على مقياس ليكرت وتم التأكد من الصدق والثبات لأداة الدارسة. تكوّن مجتمع الدراسة من طلبة المدارس الثانوية شمال المملكة للعام الدراسي 2019-2020. وبلغ حجم العينة (606) طالبا وطالبة تم اختيارهم عن طريق العينة العشوائية البسيطة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج، منها: 1) عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05=α) على الدرجة الكلية لواقع المسؤولية الاجتماعية تبعا لمتغير الجنس؛ 2) ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية للفرع العلمي. وأوصت الدراسة بعدد من التوصيات، منها: تفعيل دور المشرفين الأكاديمين في توجيه الطلبة للقيام بأدوارهم الاجتماعية على أفضل وجه. The study aimed to know the reality of social responsibility among secondary school students in the north of the Kingdom and ways to develop it and verify its differences according to the variables of gender and branch. The study population consisted of secondary school students in the north of the Kingdom for the academic year 2019-2020. The sample size was (606) male and female students who were selected through a simple random sample. The study reached a number of results, including: 1) the absence of statistically significant differences at the significance level (α=0.05) on the total degree of the reality of social responsibility according to the gender variable; 2) the presence of statistically significant differences for the scientific branch. The study recommended a number of recommendations, including: activating the role of academic supervisors in directing students to perform their social roles in the best way. (Published abstract)
