في ظل التطور الهائل في شبكة المعلومات الدولیة المعروفة بالانترنت وزیادة الخدمات التي تقدمها هذه الشبكة وما صاحب ذلك من ظهور تكنولوجیات الاتصال الحدیثة المرتبطة بالعدید من المفاهیم المتجددة مثل الجامعات الافتراضیة والمدارس الالكترونیة القائمة على أسس ومبادئ التعلیم عن بعد الذي یعد احد الطرق الحدیثة نسبیا ویعتمد مفهومه الأساسي على وجود المتعلم في مكان یختلف عن المصدر الذي یكون الكتاب أو المعلم أو حتى مجموعة الدارسین، وهو نقل برنامج تعليمي من موضعه في حرم مؤسسة تعليمية إلى أماكن متفرقة جغرافيا، ویهدف إلى جذب طلاب لا یستطیعون تحت الظروف العادیة الاستمرار في برنامج تعليمي تقليدي، فالتعلیم عن بعد یمثل خروج على الأسلوب التقليدي في التعلیم الذي كان یقوم على أساس التعلیم وجها لوجه (Face to face) فأصبحت التقنیة الحدیثة في شبكات الاتصالات الحدیثة من الربط بین الجامعات إقلیمیا ودولیا بما یمكن الباحثین والمدرسین والدارسین الاستفادة العلمیة دون حاجة لتحمل تكلفة ومشقة الاتصال من هنا ظهرت الحاجة الماسة إلى تصور یعید تحدید الأهداف وأولویات هذا التعلم وطرائق التنمیة المهنیة واستراتیجیاته ومع ظهور كل هذا أصبحت المنظومة التعليمية في مواجهة الكثیر من التحدیات الضخمة التي تستلزم التصدي لها بفكر تربوي جدید واستراتیجیات متطورة حتى یمكن إعداد الأجیال القادمة التي تمتلك مهارات التعامل مع متغیرات القرن الحادي والعشرین، وفي ظل هذه التغیرات لم یعد هدف التعلیم هو إكساب الطلاب قدرا معینا من المعلومات فقط وإنما أصبح الهدف من التعلیم هو إكساب الطالب المهارة الفنیة والتطبیقیة وتدریبه على كیفية الحصول على المعلومات من مصادرها المختلفة. وهذا یدعونا إلى النظر في إعداد المعلم، فان إعداد المعلم لابد وان یواكب التطور الحادث في التعلیم وهذا یدعو المؤسسات التربوية المهتمة بإعداد المعلم إلى إعادة النظر في برامج إعداد المعلم والمداخل التربوية التي یقوم علیها إعداده وإضافة الجدید إلیها والعمل على تحسین وتطویر القائم علیها. لذا سوف یتم التعرض في هذه الورقة البحثیة إلى تصور مقترح لإعداد معلم التعلیم عن بعد في كلیات التربیة بالجامعات المصریة لمواكبة التطور الحادث في التعلیم من جهة ومن جهة أخرى المساهمة في إكساب التلامیذ مهارات الحصول على المعلومات من مصادرها المختلفة. In the light of the tremendous advancement in the World Wide Web called Internet as well as the increase in services submitted by the web and the concomitant modern communication technologies related to novel concepts, like virtual universities, e-schools which are based upon principles of the distance learning which is regarded as one of the relatively modern methods and whose main concept depends upon availability of the learner in a place away from the source represented in either the book or the teacher or even the other students. Furthermore, distance learning seeks to transfer an educational program from its traditional place in an educational institution to geographically different places with a view to attracting the students who can't continue in a traditional educational program in normal circumstances. Distance learning doesn't adhere to the traditional method of education which is based upon face to face education; due to the fact the modern technologies used in the modern communication networks managed to establish links between regional and international universities in a way which enabled researchers, teachers and student to obtain scientific benefits without the need to bear costs and communication difficulty. Consequently, there is an urgent need for a proposal able to determine objectives and priorities of such learning once again as well as the professional development and its strategies. With the emergence of the aforesaid, the educational system become in front of many huge challenges which necessitates handling with a novel educational thinking and sophisticated strategies; in order to prepared the upcoming generations which, possess skills of dealing with the twenty first century variables. In the light of such variables, the education objective isn't confined to gain students only specific amount of information, but also the technical and applied skills as well as training students in how to obtain information from different sources. This invites not only us to reconsider the teacher's preparation; because the teacher's preparation should keep pace with the development occurring in the education process, but also the educational institutions interested in preparing the teacher to reconsider the teacher's preparation program as well as the educational approaches upon which teacher's preparation is based, adding the modern innovations to such educational programs and approaches, improving and developing individuals in charge of them. So, this research paper is going to handle a suggested proposal for preparing the distance learning teacher at faculties of education in the Egyptian Universities; with a view to keeping pace with the development occurring in the education process on the one hand, and to contributing in gaining students skills of obtaining information from their difference sources on the other hand.
