هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد مدى فاعلية استراتيجية الخرائط الدلالية في تنمية مهارة تحليل النص التاريخي ومهارات التفكير الاستدلالي لدى طالبات الصف الخامس الأساسي، واستخدمت الباحثة المنهج شبه التجريبي، حيث تكونت العينة من (64) طالبة من طالبات الصف الخامس الأساسي بمدرسة آسية بنت الحارث السعدية للتعليم الأساسي (5-8)، في ولاية الرستاق بمحافظة جنوب الباطنة. وقد قسمت العينة إلى مجموعتين: المجموعة التجريبية وتكونت من (32) طالبة درسن باستخدام الخرائط الدلالية، بينما تكونت المجموعة الضابطة من(32) طالبة درسن بالطريقة الاعتيادية، وتم التحقق من تكافؤ المجموعتين من خلال التطبيق القبلي لاختباري تحليل النصوص التاريخية والتفكير الاستدلالي. واستخدمت الباحثة أداتين لجمع البيانات هما اختبار تحليل النصوص التاريخية والذي تكون من (4) نصوص تاريخية يليها (4) من الأسئلة، واختبار مهارات التفكير الاستدلالي وتألف من (20) سؤالا بشقيه الاستدلالي والاستنباطي، وقد تم التأكد من صدقهما من قبل المحكمين، ومن ثباتهما بحساب معامل الثبات للاتساق الداخلي له، وتم استخدام اختبار (T-test) للتحليل الإحصائي والمقارنة بين مجموعتي الدراسة. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود فرق ذي دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.01) بين متوسطي عينتي الدراسة في اختبار تحليل النصوص التاريخية، واختبار مهارات التفكير الاستدلالي لصالح المجموعة التجريبية. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج أوصت الباحثة بضرورة توظيف استراتيجية الخرائط الدلالية في تدريس مادة الدراسات الاجتماعية. The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the semantic maps strategy on developing the skill of analyzing the historical text and the reasoning thinking skills of fifth-grade students, and the researcher used the quasi-experimental approach, as the sample consisted of (64) students from the fifth-grade basic students at the (Asya Bint Al-Harith Al-Saadia School for Basic Education. (8-5) In the state of Rustaq, Al Batinah South Governorate, the sample was divided into two groups: the experimental group and consisted of (32) female students studied using semantic maps, while the control group consisted of (32) female students studied in the usual way, and the equivalence of the two groups was verified through the tribal application of the two test texts analysis Historical and inferential reasoning. The researcher used two tools to collect data, which was represented in the test of analyzing historical texts, which consisted of (4) historical texts followed by questions, (4) and testing of reasoning thinking and consisted of (20) questions in both inferential and deductive aspects. Calculates the stability coefficient of its internal consistency, the T-test was used for statistical analysis and comparison between the two study groups. The results of the study showed that there is a statistically significant difference at the level (0.01) between the mean of the two study samples in the analysis of historical texts analysis, and the test of inferential thinking skills in favor of the experimental group. In the light of these results, the researcher recommended the necessity to employ the semantic maps strategy in teaching social studies subject. (Author’s abstract)
