استهدف هذا البحث الكشف عن علاقة غياب دور الأب النفسي المدرك بمستوى الأمن النفسي لدى عينة من الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة الحركية، تكونت العينة النهائية من (30) طفلاً من الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة الحركية تم اختيارهم من جمعية أصحاب الإرادة بالإسكندرية من (7- 10 سنوات). بمتوسط قدرة (8.23) بإنحراف معياري قدره (0.41). واستخدمت الباحثة الأدوات التالية: مقياس الأمن النفسي إعداد زينب شقير (2015)، مقياس الحضور النفسي المدرك للأب من خلال مقياس أساليب المعاملة الوالدية الصورة الخاصة بالأب (إعداد الباحثة). وأسفرت نتائج البحث عن: 1) وجود علاقة إرتباطية موجبة دالة إحصائياً بين درجات أفراد عينة البحث من الأطفال المعاقين حركيًا علي مقياس الحضور النفسي المدرك للأب ودرجاتهم علي مقياس الأمن النفسي، يمكن التنبؤ بالأمن النفسي من خلال أبعاد الحضور النفسي للأب، 2) وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية فى أبعاد الأمن النفسي والدرجة الكلية وفقاً للنوع (الذكور والإناث)، 3) وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية فى أبعاد الحضور النفسي للأب والدرجة الكلية وفقاً للنوع (الذكور والإناث). This research aimed to reveal the impact of the absence of the perceptive psychological role of the father on the level of psychological security for a sample of children with motor disabilities. With an average ability of (8.23) with a standard deviation of (0.41), the researcher used the following tools: Psychological Security Scale prepared by Zainab Shukair (2015), the Father’s Perceived Psychological Presence Scale through the Parental Treatment Methods Scale, the picture of the father (prepared by the researcher). The search results resulted in: 1) There is a positive, statistically significant correlation between the scores of the research sample members of the physically handicapped children on the scale of the father’s perceived psychological presence and their scores on the psychological security scale, Psychological security can be predicted through the dimensions of the father’s psychological presence, 2) and the absence of statistically significant differences in the dimensions of psychological security and the total degree according to gender (males and females), 3) and the absence of statistically significant differences in the dimensions of the father’s psychological presence and the total degree according to gender (males and females).
