هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد العلاقة بين الحكم الأخلاقي وتوقع التفكير في الانتحار لدى طلاب الجامعة وذلك في ضوء بعض المتغيرات الديموغرافية. واشتملت عينة الدراسة على (770) طالباً من طلاب الجامعة ذكوراً واناثاً، وتراوحت أعمارهم ما بين (18-25) عاماً، وذلك بمتوسط عمري قدره (19.96) عاماً، وانحراف معياري قدره (1.67). وبلغت نسبة الطلاب من الحضر (42%) ونسبة الطلاب من الريف (58%). واشتملت أدوات الدراسة على دالة إحصائياً بين درجات الطلاب على مقياس الحكم الأخلاقي ومقياس توقع التفكير في الانتحار، كذلك توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين متوسط درجات أفراد العينة في اتجاه الذكور على مقياس توقع التفكير في الانتحار، وفي اتجاه الإناث على مقياس الحكم الأخلاقي، بالإضافة إلى عدم وجود فروق على مقياس الحكم الاخلاقي بين متوسط درجات طلاب الريف والحضر، أما على مقياس توقع التفكير في الانتحار كانت النتائج دالة إحصائياً بالنسبة لطلاب الحضر، كما توجد علاقة سالبة دالة إحصائياً بين المستوى الاجتماعي والاقتصادي ودرجات الطلاب على مقياس توقع التفكير في الانتحار ومقياس الحكم الأخلاقي، كما أن هناك قدره تنبؤية للحكم الاخلاقي وابعاده المختلفة على مدى توقع التفكير في الانتحار بين طلاب الجامعة. The study aimed to determine the relationship between moral judgment and the expectation of suicidal ideation among university students in the light of some demographic variables. The study sample included (770) male and female university students, and their ages ranged between (18-25) years, with an average age of (19.96) years, and a standard deviation of (1.67). The percentage of students from urban areas (42%) and the percentage of students from rural areas (58%), and the study tools included a scale of moral judgment and a scale of expecting suicidal ideation. The results of the study resulted in a statistically significant negative correlation between the students’ scores on the moral judgment scale and the suicidal ideation expectation scale. The study also found statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample members in the direction of males on the scale of anticipating suicidal ideation, and in the direction of females on the scale Moral judgment, in addition to the absence of differences on the moral judgment scale between the average scores of rural and urban students, while on the scale of anticipating suicidal ideation, the results were statistically significant for urban students, and there is also a negative statistically significant relationship between the social and economic level and students’ scores on the thinking expectancy scale. In suicide and the moral judgment scale, there is also a predictive ability of moral judgment and its various dimensions on the extent to which suicidal ideation is expected among university students.
